I'm a self-taught artist, born and brought up mostly in Tokyo, Japan and in the United States for a short time.
I have been an art lover since my early age, but I didn't feel like painting until I was strongly influenced by African charm. Traveling to mid eastern Africa was a precious experience in my life.
I gained enthusiasm from the beauty, toughness and love of human beings and wild animals.
I also paint images inspired by music, movies, and also from my own experience or sympathy to others.
Recently I was again strongly influenced by the warmth and cheerfulness of Caribbean people, especially "the happiest people in the world" in Puerto Rico.
My theme and style may change along the way, meeting people, traveling, how I feel, and such. Anyway, I am pursuing to express touching feelings, scenes and impressions in my style. |
